Summary
Campbell Company of Canada has an exciting opportunity for Shipping / Receiving Drivers (contract role) at our Etobicoke location for both swing shift and night shift.
Responsibilities
Using a forklift the driver is responsible to receive, unload and store shipments, ensure that production receives a timely supply of ingredients, and ensure that raw materials and supplies are transported safely within the facility. Using SAP the driver will access dock schedules, plan raw material deliveries, access ‘Pull Lists’ for production, and enter accurate received, production supplied and returned quantities. **Key role accountabilities include:** * Ingredient & Non-Ingredient Receiving. * Invoice Bill of Lading Receiving. * Ingredient & Non-Ingredient Production Supply. * Inventory Control Movements (FEFO Controls) * Dunnage Controls
Ideal Candidate
**Position Requirements:** * 3 years of experience as a licensed forklift driver * Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * experience with SAP is considered an asset * Providing proof of completion of high school * Successful completion of three satisfactory work references * Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs. * Ability and flexibility to work ALL shifts including days, afternoons, overnight and weekend shifts. (Shift times vary from 8.5 hours to 12.5 hours depending upon team assignment.) * Adherence to good manufacturing procedures requirements including the removal of all jewelry, piercings, false nails, nail polish, false eyelashes etc. * Wearing safety shoes and company provided designated personal protective equipment at all times on the production floor, including uniform, safety goggles, hairnets, and beard nets. **The following qualifications and experience are considered an asset:** * Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP’s, HACCP and other manufacturing policies * Demonstrated ability to work safely, efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment * Learns new processes quickly and follows instructions and procedures as directed * Works well both independently, and as part of a team * Ability to work successfully in different environments (loud, wet, dry, hot, humid, cold) * Demonstrates excellent past attendance and punctuality record
