Summary
**RN Staff Development Coordinator** opportunity at a premier senior living center in upstate New York! We provide a wide range of services with exceptional care and compassion. The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating in-services for the Campus nursing staff. As an on-call Nurse Manager, the Staff Development Coordinator will also manage Charge Nurses and Aide staff, as needed.
Responsibilities
* Schedules and/or provides mandatory in-services as outlined by OSHA and DOH regulations/guidelines for employees and other in-servicing * Assists in the planning, tracking and execution of non-mandatory in-services. * Performs annual employee health screenings for the nursing home, including PPD administration and reading for all employees and volunteers.
Ideal Candidate
A current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New York * Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in nursing. * Must have at least 2 years Staff Development experience. * Must have at least 2 years of long term care nursing experience. * At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
