DevOps Engineer

We are a fast growing, agile team serving over 20,000 customers in 30 customers. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help us scale our operations as we continue to grow at a rapid pace.

* Work with other members of the development team to understand management and automation requirements for our infrastructure. * Recommend solutions / approaches / architectures / technologies to address our DevOps needs, including workflow integration, instance provisioning and management, system/application/network monitoring, maintenance and management, etc. * Work with off-the-shelf/open source DevOps tools to manage our infrastructure reliably, and with resiliency in the face of unexpected behaviors, including automation and monitoring tools.

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent in work experience. -Solid knowledge of and demonstrable capability in scripting, including a minimum of 4 years’ experience in writing Python/Bash/Ruby and similar scripts * 3 years’ experience working with configuration management tool (including Linux, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, OpenStack or other similar capabilities developed as in-house tools) * 4 years’ experience in and demonstrable knowledge of Linux system administration * Experience with various OpenStack distributions * Strong knowledge of AWS including EC2, VPC, Route 53, VPN, MySQL and Redis * Desire to build/optimize/maintain a highly available AWS infrastructure * Ability to provide 24/7 response to service downtime on an alternating basis * Experience managing automated builds and deployments * Experience using relational databases and SQL for application development * Experience with MySQL database administration
