Summary
The Product/Technical Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the complete product life cycle of Cadence’s current and next generation of Vision DSP products. The ideal candidate possesses working knowledge of processor, DSP architecture and imaging/vision applications. The ideal candidate will work with sales, imaging/vision engineering, applications engineering to drive product success in the market place, resolve product related issues, create marketing and sales related collateral, and present those materials to customers. The person will also gather market requirements, recognize market trends, and analyze competitive products. Will collaborate with all other members of the marketing and engineering team to bolster the technical accuracy and depth of marketing messages in all forms (presentations, technical papers, articles, web presence, trade shows). Responsibilities
* Manage all phases of the product marketing lifecycle for assigned products. * Drive product success by driving customer success, delivering complete products (necessary collaterals, software library, demo platforms, competitive analysis, outbound marketing activities – trade shows, blog, magazine articles, field training). Work with Technical Publications team to insure that all documentation is accurate and clearly presented. * Will also participate in managing major/strategic customer programs within Cadence. Will also drive and arbitrate between competing priorities to meet product and business objectives * Identify new opportunities and define future product requirements for Vision DSP to authorship a comprehensive Market Requirements Documents. Responsible for tracking and disposition of new feature requests from customers, engineering, and other marketing teams. **Travel:** * Occasional travel, including international travel, will be required.
Ideal Candidate
* BSEE or equivalent required. * 5 or more years of total relevant work experience. Experience in semiconductor or semiconductor IP marketing is required. * Must have a working knowledge of microprocessor and DSP * Preferred to have understanding of imaging and vision systems including camera sub system plus imaging/vision applications * Must have good understanding of required software infrastructure for imaging and vision systems (OpenVX, OpenCL, OpenCV Lib) * Some knowledge of imaging and vision application software eco systems is a plus * Proven track record working with cross functional teams * High degree of personal initiative and ability to work independently, high energy and result oriented proactive person * Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
