Contracting Specialist

CACI provides information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers.

System Integrations & Sustainment: Is responsible for assisting the Contracting Officer with reviewing and analyzing requirements for systems integration and sustainment on Cost-Reimbursable and FFP contracts. You shall assist with determining business strategies, planning methods, and techniques to conduct extensive study and analyses of system production, technology, and logistics support requirements, through major defense contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with regulatory provisions. You responsible for assisting with high visibility briefing and presentations. Personnel are accountable to research, interpret, and work within the FAR, DFAR, and DPAP, DAR Council, and MAJCOM guidelines to assist with developing sound strategies and innovative business decisions. Duties also include: serving as an advisor to customers; assisting with preparing sole source and competitive soliciations; assisting in the proposal evaluation process; assisting in negotiating contracts terms, preparing the contract file for award, and contract closeout activities.

**Required Qualifications:** - 10 years contracting experience, to include major programs - Experience administering cost type contracts, to include CPFF, CPIF, and CR - Secret clearance with a Background Investigation (BI) that is within five years of entry to the project and must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance - Bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours across any of all of 12 different fields - DAWIA level II certification in contracting or FAC-C level II certification (equivalency can be shown, but must be demonstrated by providing training certificates and proving equivalency to level II certification courses).
