- Characterization, validation and debug of high-speed serial devices operating at 1-100Gb/s in an R&D environment. - Creation of test setups on bench-top and probe station. - Automation of data acquisition process. - Work with design engineering to determine product capabilities and achievable specifications. - Work with applications engineering and sales to support customer design-in efforts.

- Typically requires a BSEE with 6+ years of experience or an MSEE with 3+ years of experience or a PhD. - Experience in laboratory characterization of high speed electronic devices. - Basic knowledge of some of the following serdes standards: PCIE, USB3, SATA, 10GBASE-R, OIF CEI, XAUI, CAUI. - Ability to work in highly-collaborative teams consisting of circuit designers, mask designers, logic designers, signal-integrity, verification, and test engineers. - Proficiency with Python (or Perl, VBASIC or C/C++) is highly desirable. - Basic knowledge of clock-and-data recover (CDR) and phase locked loop (PLL) operation is desirable.
