Summary
BrightEdge is looking for a Web Developer to take responsibility of our web properties, which are visited by tens of thousands of viewers each month and growing quickly. You will collaborate with Marketing, Engineering and UX to manage and implement changes and updates to the sites. We are seeking a self-starter who is not afraid to tackle large projects and works well prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage the company's web properties
* Manage and implement updates to development and production servers / conduct website change management process
* Implement Drupal best practices and internal processes
* Custom code and take ownership of modules, themes, and database work
* Collaborate with vendors and Marketing, Engineering, and UX teams, from C-level to developers to QA
* Provide technical leadership and assume overall accountability for a successful implementation on all projects
* Ensure technical solutions are properly architected and speci?ed, as well as review all code for quality assurance purposes
* Integrate website with existing applications or third-party/open-source platforms
Ideal Candidate
* A BA/BS degree is required, ideally in Computer Science or related technical field with demonstrated academic excellence
* Solid understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, JavaScript (Angular JS)
* Working knowledge of Drupal is a big plus
* Familiarity with a CSS Preprocessor like LESS or Sass is a plus
* Experience with Eloqua, Salesforce and other third-party integrations is a plus
* Agile development experience and deep familiarity with software development
