Sr. Analyst - Media Strategies

Bright House Networks is the sixth largest owner and operator of cable systems in the U.S. and the second largest in Florida, with technologically advanced systems located in five states including Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Michigan and California.

Provides analytical details to the organization regarding all aspects of customer behavior, business implications, risks or/and opportunities Write complex queries on multiple databases to extract data for analysis

* Provides industry and competitive research to support business decisions and analysis * Manages the collection and synthesizes of data from various sources, including usage databases, billing system databases and other internal databases * Helps define, compile and publish periodic metrics reports including weekly, monthly and yearly summaries for all areas supported * Support industry initiatives with respect to data, reporting and analysis * Maintains supplemental data tables that support analytics – Oracle database * Responsible for conducting financial modeling, market analysis, and assess organizational impact * Develops tracking and reporting tools to analyze trends/variances * Special projects as assigned

* Must be extremely detail-oriented, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. * High level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and commitment is essential. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is critical; * Must possess exceptional interpersonal management skills and professional demeanor. * A Bachelor’s degree in, business, economics, statistics or similar discipline or equivalent experience * Experience with collecting, analyzing, reporting and presenting metrics * Understanding of database technology, reporting tools and advertising metrics * Good SQL foundation - required * Experience with data analysis - required * Experience with Crystal reports – preferred * Experience with HTML – preferred * Experience with TOAD - required * Three years experience required * Extensive experience with personal computers, word processing, and spreadsheet programs are required (Excel, Power Point, Access, Word, Visio, etc.) * Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this position * This position must deal professionally with individuals inside and outside the company * Strong verbal and written communications skills are necessary. Ability to interpret and present data to senior management in a clear and concise manner * Must practice good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality and use resources to meet changing needs and goals
