Summary
Instructional Designer, responsible for the design and development of training documentation, standardized facilitator and participant guides to support Business Solutions, Care and Technical curriculums for Field Training. Additional responsibilities include the design and creation of Web-Based Training (WBT) solutions (eLearning) as needed. Also promotes the integration of technology in all training curriculums when applicable.
Responsibilities
* Apply all aspects of instructional design principles (i.e. ADDIE model), adult learning theory and learning styles in order to develop well-designed training documents and eLearnings. * Provide high-quality interactive training documents and eLearnings using blended learning approach. * Collaborate with assigned L&D Staff, Manager(s) and/or Director(s) to create quality training documents and or Web-Based Training (WBT) for initiatives as requested. * Attend conference calls and/or meetings as needed on projects requiring documentation support or eLearning. * Maintain Project Log by adding, updating, and completing all entries that pertain to documentation assignments requiring Instructional Design or eLearning. * Co-facilitate “train the trainer” conference calls and/or sessions with L&D staff on new training documentation when ready for hand off and/or implementation. * Assist other L&D Staff with creation of blended learning training and supplemental eLearning modules to support training material as requested. * Research and evaluate emerging instructional and web technologies, tools etc. * Perform other duties and accept responsibility as assigned. *
Ideal Candidate
**Required Skills:** **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE** * Four (4) year college degree in Education, Adult Learning with experience in Instructional Design and Web-Based Training WEB or other related field preferred or equivalent of four (4) years’ work experience in Instructional Design and development of training documentation and eLearning. **Required Experience:** **SPECIAL SKILLS** * Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and Share Point. * Instructional Design certification * WBT certification such as Articulate Studio and/or Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent * Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise and creative training documentation. * Strong platform and interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Positive attitude, attention to detail and customer service focus. * Ability to accept and provide constructive feedback in a professional manner. * Ability to plan, organize and successfully coordinate multiple priorities in order to meet all deadlines and deliverables. * Consistently develop and maintain supportive work relationships. * Professional appearance and behavior required.
