Summary
Establish key contacts and foster working relationships within the customer engineering and management ranks. Strategic identification and prioritization of issues and corrective actions Manage and drive timely closure of customers’ issues. Work to resolve problems including oversight of the initiation and closure of root cause and corrective/preventative actions.
Responsibilities
* Establish key actions to measure, evaluate and improve Customer Satisfaction. * Interact and collaborate with Sales, Product/Test, Applications, Design, and Quality teams around the globe to address issues or matters of significance. * Lead and participate in customer proposal of programs/activities as requested/required. * The Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) will be the “voice of the customers” in order to drive/influence the implementation of programs that will lead to products and service quality improvement. * Directly interface with Cirrus Logic management across functions to enable world-class product development, qualification execution, and implementation of quality best practices. * Work with Cirrus Logic engineers to ensure component quality and reliability; making recommendations for improvement. * Must be able to handle high-pressure customer quality issues while maintaining the highest level of professionalism in facing both the customer and internal engineering teams.
Ideal Candidate
* Highly skilled Field Applications, Product/Test, Failure Analysis, or Customer Quality Professional with experience in mixed-signal audio devices (CODEC, DAC, AMP, MEMs) * Strong problem solving, documentation, and communication skills. * Good understanding of semiconductor fabrication, assembly, and product assembly processes * Good understanding of ATE and bench test methods, results, and interpretation * Working knowledge of statistics and production control processes; Knowledgeable in data analysis and interpretation * This position requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /Advanced Mechanics / Physics / Materials and 10+ years of experience. MS preferred.
