Senior Industrial Designer

This position reports to the Director of Industrial Design.

In this role, you will be leading teams of creative professionals to develop unique solutions to complex problems with a focus on user-centric design, informed by formal user research.

You will proactively lead projects while still maintaining a hands-on design role.

You will also have a client-facing role and will present your work and the work of others across multiple industries to leading client organizations.

A high level of comfort in all client-facing activities and great interpersonal skills.

Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate verbally, in writing, and visually.

A proven track record successfully managing projects and delivering high quality solutions to clients.

A natural ability to lead by example and to manage creative teams on projects.

A self-starter with a can-do attitude.

A portfolio demonstrating strong industrial design skills (form development, 2D sketching, 3D CAD, etc.).

Experience in a variety of product domains, including consumer electronics and medical/healthcare systems.

At least five years of hands-on experience, with a minimum of three years of design consulting experience.
