Responsibilities
* The Senior Vice President, Multi-Housing will be responsible for growing the dividion as well as the effective management of the multi-housing portfolio ranging from conventional, student housing, governmentally subsidized (HUD, RD and Tax Credit) and Condos/HOA’s and setting the strategic direction to increase the value of individual properties while leading a team of high level professionals to achieve operational, financial and business performance goals. A primary goal of this position will be to double the portfolio by 2020.
Ideal Candidate
* Third Party Business Development experience a must. * Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Management, Finance or Business Administration or related field; Master’s is preferred. * Experience in Asset Management, Finance and/or Development. * Demonstrated strong and effective leadership, staff development and communication skills * Exhibit forensic financial and analytical skills. * Be at ease with the language of real estate finance. * Critical thinker able to assess, synthesize and communicate issues and solutions as a key part of the management team. * Be disciplined and results driven with strong project management skills to ensure consistent focus on key drivers and performance. * Ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters and prioritize tasks to ensure corporate goals and time frames are met. * Proven improvement of operating results particularly revenue enhancement and cost effective expense management * Superb customer-service skills; demonstrated ability to maintain strong working relations with both internal and external clients. * Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret the most complex business documents. * Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues, write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. * Effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups, ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action. * Must be willing to live in Indiana, Michigan or Chicagoland. * Willingess to travel (drive) to Bradley Company offices/properties 2 to 3x per week.
