Merchandiser

Boyd Coffee Company is a 4th generation family owned business headquartered in Portland Oregon. We’ve been roasting superb coffees and manufacturing delicious beverages, food products, and equipment solutions to our customers for over 117 years.

Currently we are searching for Merchandiser to join our hardworking, agile, and competitive sales team in the Layton, UT area. This fast-paced, hands-on role is responsible for providing sales merchandising support to our territory sales team.

* Support Sales Representative to ensure customer product levels are appropriate based on previous sales, forecasts and trends. * Work with Sales Representative and Group Sales Manager to coordinate sales and merchandising schedule. * Shop customer shelves to rotate product to maintain peak freshness and assist Sales Representative in identifying new sales opportunities. * Maintain point-of-purchase space to ensure excellent consumer beverage experience. * Monitor coffee brewing equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer sales. * Identify sales opportunities for Sales Representative to pursue. * Inventory and warehouse management. * Work to expedite customer product order and requests. * Manage product inventory, ordering process and sales stop schedule. * Assist with ordering product, inventory count, etc.

* 1+ year of experience in a sales merchandising or similar role. * Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills. * Ability to balance workload through organization and effective time management skills.
