Summary
This role is for an internship under our Sales Development team. Our Sales Development Representatives Interns (SDR Interns) are the first point of contact for our customers. They are creative, passionate, and collaborative. Our SDR interns demonstrate high levels of professionalism and Box product knowledge, and your main responsibility will be to drive registration for our largest customer conference, BoxWorks, through outbound efforts. Additional day to day responsibilities for the internship include: account mapping, working cross-functionally with Account Executives to navigate sales territories, and measuring success through analyzing data.
Responsibilities
* Rapidly learn about Box as a Cloud Content Management platform * Drive outbound efforts to increase registration for the BoxWorks conference * Learn how to navigate leads and sales contacts to ensure highest chance for registration * Establish rapport with all levels of buyers including senior executives * Understand a lead’s needs and effectively communicate how Box will meet them * Document various details including use case, lead scores, purchase timeframes, next steps * Use SalesForce.com for lead management and sales forecasting * Ensure 100% satisfaction with all customers * Evangelize Cloud Content Management using Box
Ideal Candidate
* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in any major * Planning to graduate between December 2017 and June 2018 * Excellent communication skills and natural curiosity * Prior successful sales or lead qualification experience is a plus but not necessary * Consistent, measurable over-achievement in past experiences * A Box account (it's free!) * Passion for cloud technologies
