Summary
Bounce Exchange is hiring a newly created Director of Partner Alliances who can navigate through the Private Equity to successfully close and manage deals. In this business development role, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding BounceX’s influence to drive awareness and acquisition. You will develop the overall PE strategy and play a critical role in establishing partnership agreements.
Responsibilities
* Be an absolute master of the Private Equity channel with a track record of closing meaningful, quantifiable partnerships * Identify PE firms who own multiple e-commerce companies or have involvement in the MarTech space * Close deals and continuously build out the sales pipeline * Focus on developing, negotiating, and managing partnerships * Make sure these partnerships support key growth, monetization, and product initiatives of BounceX * Detail business requirements, build proposals, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure clear and realistic deliverables * Take a data-driven approach to decision making; provide proof for your proposals and suggestions * Maintain close relationships with each PE firm to identify partnership opportunities
Ideal Candidate
* MBA preferred but not required, or experience in the PE industry * 2-4 years direct experience working at a PE firm or business development or software sales for technology start up * Ability to really speak the PE language * Must be a self-starter; this is not a position where you will be hand-held * Must be able to come in and make an immediate impact * Experience developing high-impact partnerships, ideally with a background in business development/sales * Unique ability to know how to prioritize your partnership pipeline * Ability to understand mutual strategic benefits in business partnerships * Be a pro at the following: strategic management, business development, product development, relationship management * Able to deal effectively and persuasively with management, staff, constituents, etc. * Experience using data to inform your strategy and drive better decision-making * Ability to understand software from a product perspective so you can explain complex technical concepts
