Resident Engineer on-site at GM

As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, Robert Bosch LLC has made its Farmington Hills and Plymouth Michigan facilities the headquarters for its North American automotive businesses.

• Support integration of Body Control Module and Central Gateway Modules into the GM vehicles at General Motors in Warren.
• On-site resource to address design related issues directly with GM.
• Technical liaison back to the Bosch development team in Plymouth, MI.
• Perform bench/vehicle testing of Body Control Module, Immobilizer, Remote Keyless Entry, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and Central Gateway Module Systems.
• Support GM application efforts.
• Responsible for supporting field issues from all sources, determining if they are relevant and delegating them via Change Request to correct Platform Support Engineer.
• Responsible for addressing all platform issues for root cause, supporting all physical properties and maintaining all CTF / Warranty issues.
• Responsible for managing calibrations via the calibration management process, releasing calibrations per platform timing and supporting the Platform Support Engineer, as required.
• Responsible for creating, maintaining and driving through the release process (EWO process) required for all platforms.
• Willingness to work at GM VEC in Warren, MI and to travel between GM VEC and Bosch in Plymouth, MI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience or more.

Preferred:

• Experience with Body Electronics, CAN, LIN, Vector Tools, GM Cal-DS, E-Squared, and GMLAN Tools.
