This position will be located in Waterloo, IA on-site at the client John Deere. By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.
Resident Technical Sales Engineer - Starters and Generators:
- Position requires person to be on site at customers 5 days per week (40 Hours).
- Responsible for customer technical support, application mapping, test report coordination and report out. Prototype build support, verification of test plans with development Engineering and review with customer.
- Main Communication link between global cross-functional Bosch team and customer.
Sales:
- Processing customer requests, (RFQ's) negotiating pricing, reporting and calculating RMI, managing the quote process from inception through delivery to program management.
- Support Plant logistics, Accounts Receivables, Quality Departments and all Awards Excellence criteria from John Deere.
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years experience in automotive technical engineering or sales.
Preferred:
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent technical project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience specifically in Automotive development cycle (Quoting, requirement / capacity analysis, validation test plan preparation, and coordination).
- External Customer Experience a must.
- Presentation preparation and presentation skills.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 20% both locally and internationally.
