Future Mobility Post-Doc (Research Scientist)

As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, Robert Bosch LLC has made its Farmington Hills and Plymouth Michigan facilities the headquarters for its North American automotive businesses.

As a Future Mobility Post-Doc (Research Scientist), you will create and evaluate scenarios of future mobility for the North American region by performing research and acquiring/evaluating models and data. Your duties and tasks include but are not limited to:

• Analyze mobility trends' relation and possible impact on future mobility
• Obtain region specific data
• Identify and explore region-specific effects
• Develop comprehensive generic mobility system understanding

• PhD degree
• Generalist in the field of mobility research, trend analysis
• Knowledgeable and connected in the field of mobility research
• Familiar with advanced models for household transportation
• Excellent knowledge and proven expertise in econometric analysis, discrete choice modeling, statistical analysis, and surveys to evaluate and develop models of travel
• The ability to develop, understand and analyze complex models
• Experience with working independently in international team
• Excellent communication skills
