Responsibilities
* Project management support for technical issues (requirement analyses, coordination be-tween Bosch-divisions and customers). * Define and evaluate mounting positions for airbag systems in vehicles. * Setup, installation, and release of measurement equipment for vehicle crash testing at the laboratory. * Contribute to software-, hardware and system trials and approval test. * Participate in Bosch and customer meetings. * Support SW, HW or System issues and lead investigations on bench and vehicle level. Create, verify, and report protocols for repeatable diagnosis issues. * Analyze and contain problems (e.g. vehicle, component, or system diagnostics) during series or pre-production launch at customer plant and for prototype deliveries. From time to time off-site in different domestic area/locations. * Clarifications of requirements with customer. * Contribute to the customer specific engineering activities according to their processes and tools. E.g. releases documentation and drawings into the customer system, e.g. CAD drawings. * She/He will adhere to the standards and procedures for National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety * BOSCH-face to the customer
Ideal Candidate
* Basic Qualifications * BS in Engineering or equivalent * 0-3 years' experience in a technical background in automotive systems and/or ECU software development and/or ECU hardware development (may include education/internship or direct employment) * Preferred Qualifications * Team oriented working style, cooperative attitude and flexibility and able to operational independently, but responsibly, with strong verbal and written communication as well as negotiation skills * Experience in working with OEM customers, knowledge of restraints electronics hardware and software with experience with vehicle electrical architecture and knowledge of CAN networks and diagnostics tools
