• Media and analyst relations
• Executive personas and speaking events for our executive team
• Management of our PR firm
• Our internal spokesperson certification process
• Press release calendar, launches and messaging
• Content programs including thought leadership initiatives

• 3+ years of experience working in a communications function at a startup or PR firm who supported startups
• High energy and love to get stuff done
• Tenacious and resilient - you don’t give up
• Love to write
• Love people (talking to them doesn’t burn you out)
• Have the courage to challenge and shape our strategy
• Energized by feedback and being challenged
• Solid understanding of what makes up a B2B SaaS brand and it’s story
• Familiarity working with and influencing industry analysts and the media
• Knows what makes for a good and a bad press release
• Understanding of the retail industry and e-commerce a major plus
• Strong personal social media presence a major plus
• Comfortable traveling up to 20% of the time
