Web Designer

• Support all relevant design and implementation needs for the Americas commercial team;

• Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using JavaScript and HTML/ CSS;

• Provide product inputs and innovation requirements representative of the product needs in the Americas region back to the Amsterdam team;

• Own the products and designs you create and impact they have on our regional partners;

• When necessary accompany commercial team members on relevant partner meetings to achieve optimal product solutions and technical alignment.

• Relevant work experience in eCommerce;

• Expert understanding of core front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS);

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite;

• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery;

• Experience with templating languages;

• Ability to write clean and reusable code;

• Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues;

• Knowledge of server side web technology;

• Knowledge of version control systems (GIT); Comfortable working on a command line;

• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in a fast paced environment;

• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 50%.

• 3-5 years of professional web design experience;

• Written and verbal fluency in English required;

• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred;

• High School diploma or equivalent required;

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
