Headquartered in Marriottsville, Maryland, the system owns, manages, or joint ventures 19 acute-care hospitals, one psychiatric hospital, five nursing care facilities, four assisted living facilities, and 14 home care and hospice services.

* Accepts "over the counter" patient and departmental cashiering (payments on accounts), and prepares the deposits for the bank. * FC/PIA will monitor and trend data regarding Registrations errors, MSP, coding, system interfaces and other quality improvement items to help determine Bon Secours Charity areas of opportunity and quality improvements and denial prevention.

* Work requires the ability to read, write, follow oral and written instructions, perform mathematical calculations and communicate effectively at a level generally acquired through completion of a HS education. 2. A comprehensive understanding of insurance requirements, as well as familiarity with medical terminology. This level is normally acquired through one to two years' experience in hospital billing and registration. 3. Work requires the ability to operate accounts receivable inquiry, insurance proration and verification, as well as inquiry functions on hospital system, or any on-line insurance eligibility system as acquired through 1 year training and/or work experience. 4. Work requires detailed review of clerical errors for "Quality Assurance". 5. Ability to identify, analyzes, prioritize and solve problems. 6. Ability to communicate reports and issues to the Manager in a brief, concise, problem-solving manner. 7. Ability to multi-task. 8. Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel and Power Point. 9. Professional demeanor, both in dress and actions.
