Summary
This is an opportunity to be a part of a Global Human Resources Department supporting Compensation Management. In this role you will primarily provide key executive assistant support to the Director of Compensation Practices & Initiatives. You will have responsibility for general administrative duties and special project and program activities as needed with exposure to the company’s workforce. As a team member you will partner with your colleagues in providing a high level of customer service to management, employees and vendors alike.
Responsibilities
* Serving as an assistant to the head of the area in proactively managing the office flow; * Maintaining appropriate confidentiality of all information received * Scheduling and organizing activities and travel, answering telephones and assisting callers, and preparing and completing invoices for payment * Serving as reception point for Compensation Practices & Initiatives by fostering appropriate traffic flow while ensuring line client needs are met * Assists in the development of presentations and communications and assists HR management with special projects and programs as requested; * Partnering and providing support to Compensation team members in providing a high level of client service to employees, line of business managers, employees and vendors alike * Distributes incoming and prepares outgoing mail for department along with assistance in preparing and distributing letters and documents, ensures return of required paperwork while always maintaining appropriate confidentiality and filing of information received * Ability to interact with Sr. level executive administrative assistant support * Preparing standard and ad-hoc reports and maintaining various HR-related data.
Ideal Candidate
* Typically requires a high school education. * More than 5 years of experience. * Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software and spreadsheets (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point). * Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential issues. * Position requires poise and tact and diplomacy. * Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization. * Work requires continual attention to detail in composing to detail, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
