Senior JavaScript Framework Developer - JS/UI Job

This is a key position in our UI Infrastructure Core Tech team responsible for driving next-gen Bloomberg development platforms enterprise-wide.

In this role you will be a key member of the team developing the JavaScript platform that provides the building blocks, framework, and infrastructure used by the firm's 3000+ R&D employees to build high-quality, high-performance applications used both internally and externally. The successful candidate will have experience implementing performant JavaScript applications with an emphasis on optimization, API design, and architecture. This is an opportunity to directly affect the daily lives of internal developers using a modern stack of JavaScript technologies to enable highly interactive desktop applications. Emphasis will be placed on developing well-tested and structured code, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast moving environment.

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent expertise) * Minimum of 3 years of JavaScript and node.js experience * Minimum of 5 years experience with high performance C++ * Experience using V8 and familiarity with Chromium, Blink * Experience with client side JS MVC frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Ember, Polymer, etc) * Solid understanding of JavaScript functional programming concepts, object-oriented techniques * Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented design * Strong problem solving skills * Strong (especially written) English communication
