The Core Financial Applications (CFA) department designs and builds business-critical solutions for a diverse set of customers in the financial industry. Our products include analytical and research applications for equities, fixed income, mortgages, commodities, economics, foreign exchange and financial derivatives. The products we build help traders, investment bankers, corporate treasurers, research analysts and portfolio managers solve complex business problems.
As a software engineer in CFA, you will be responsible for the full development life cycle of key projects. You will learn about finance from our subject matter experts and through Bloomberg University courses. Your ingenuity and enterprise will help improve and progress our products in a highly competitive and challenging marketplace.

- We are looking for dedicated and ambitious software developers with strong technical and programming skills, excellent problem solving ability, and an appreciation for the scope and impact of their work.
- 2+ years of software development experience in C/C++
- 2+ years of experience with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and all phases of the software development life cycle
- 2+ years of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in developing financial applications
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Financial knowledge
