Contributed Pricing Software Developer - Javascript / Python / C++

Bloomberg's Contributions team is looking for an independent, self-motivated individual to join the team Princeton NJ. Our purpose is to provide clients and contributing firms with the best tools and applications to facilitate the contributed pricing functions on the Bloomberg Terminal. This includes UI's, feeds, quality control of pricing, and facilitating trading.

• Work with business and product managers to develop new applications
• Work with data analysts to develop algorithms to determine the quality and validity of contributed data
• Build and maintain high performance applications which receive millions of updates daily from contributing firms
• Enjoys the challenge of performance tuning processes where every millisecond counts

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Javascript, Python, C/C++, Relational Database Concepts (3+ years experience)
• Interested in developing highly efficient/high throughput applications with a passion for performance tuning
• Linux/Unix programming, scripting, debugging, and performance tools
• Knowledge of financial markets is a plus
