Summary
The Account Manager's role is to act as the Account Executive's primary partner, being the key liaison between sales, advertising operations, and finance. The candidate will understand and be familiar with the AE's accounts as well as work directly with customer's on-boarding new programs & managing ongoing campaign performance. No direct sales but revenue and production responsibilities for this position are required.
Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on customer support as needed including (but not limited to): * Uses discretion and makes decisions regarding customers campaign * Focuses on activities that drive customer retention. * Creates Campaign Performance Reports * Campaign delivery monitoring and reporting * Works closely with AE's and internal departments to ensure we meet client expectations and resolve problems * Uses tools provided by Research to produce mid and post account reports * Has the knowledge and familiarity with accounts to analyze data and produce reports based on that data * Prepares correspondence when necessary
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 2+ years of recent/relevant advertising sales experience in the NY market required * Experience with the following desired: Cross-platform account management; Analytics; Media campaigns, Media Planning. * Excellent communication skills and solid understanding of media advertising landscape * Self-motivated; proactive; strong team player * Capable of multitasking and working in a fast paced environment * Experience with Salesforce.com a plus * Must be literate in MS Office (Word and Excel) * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities
