Senior Software Engineer

BitTorrent is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong front end and programmatic ad tech skills.

• Contribute to the development of advertising technology solutions and integrations
• Evaluate fit of product features to customer needs
• Provide post-sales technical integration support
• Be an end-to-end owner of software services spanning technology boundaries
• Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad-hoc questions
• Work collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver quality software
• Support operations activities with deployments, debugging production issues and tuning applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with data modeling, SQL, and database systems (MySQL/Oracle/Postgres)
• Experience with online advertising technologies including DFP, Header Bidding, prebid.js, and OpenRTB
• Experience developing software using Agile/Kanban methodologies
• Outstanding communication & presentation skills
• Video.js Experience

Ideal Qualifications:

• Experience with cross browser compliance test tools (Browser Test / Sauce Labs)
• Object Oriented JS development
• Build Process; Node.js / Grunt / Gulp
• Version Control – Git, SVN
