Operations Manager

Birchbox is looking for an Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day warehousing practices at our 3PL warehouse and develop long term strategic fulfillment and procurement plan. Together with your team and our fulfillment partner, you will develop effective strategies and processes that enable world class fulfillment. You will also be responsible for driving cost efficiencies as well as managing the overall distribution and packaging budget. This is an exciting opportunity to develop our warehouse management function and impact our logistics processes in a major way.

* Partner with 3rd party fulfillment team to ensure service level commitments are met or exceeded, cost per unit is continuously optimized and quality of operations is improved over time. * Partner with packaging vendors to implement corrugate that will improve customer experience. * Manage internal cross-functional and external 3rd party relationships to ensure business needs are met and new initiatives are supported. * Create clear SLA’s for fulfillment operations, report on them transparently and hit them consistently. * Ensure billing and invoicing accuracy and timeliness.

* 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, or other technical field. * Experience in Warehouse Management Systems and ERP Systems. * Experience in warehouse expansions is a plus. * Experience in transportation management is a plus. **You** * Are excited to ensure that each of our over 800,000 (and climbing) subscribers receives a personalized delivery every month, on time * Are obsessed with the details, but can effectively communicate high-level summaries * Are confident thinking on your feet, making deliberate but timely decisions when complications arise * Are effective at getting things done while collaborating across diverse teams * Are analytically and technically savvy and willing to figure out new skills * "Google it" when you don't know
