Product Manager

Billtrust™ is the inventor of payment cycle management. Billtrust’s Quantum Payment Cycle Management solution accelerates cash flow by automating invoice delivery, invoice payment, and cash application. Companies can improve operational efficiency throughout the invoice-to-cash process with electronic invoicing and payments in a flexible, cloud-based solution.

Billtrust is seeking a Product Manager for our Custom Solutions Team (CST) to manage the process of delivering client requested and paid-for features for our Quantum Invoicing and Quantum Payments bundles. You will work with internal and external business partners to help define and document the problems our clients are looking for us to solve and ensure all details are outlined clearly in a Statement of Work (SOW). Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring the team maintains profitability for these custom delivered features. You will quickly become an expert with our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions and target markets, and use that knowledge to facilitate the growth of our product suite.

* Manage the client SOW process and maintain solid communication throughout feature delivery * Work with the SCRUM team to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality deliverables * Ensure new features being built fit into our broader product strategy and do not create further gaps in functionality * Collaborate Marketing, Sales, Finance and other internal stakeholders to provide transparency into the priorities of the team * Manage multiple priorities and client demands while understanding client tolerance for delivery timelines * Manage and improve upon profitability of the team, and report out on P&L quarterly

* Proven ability to successfully manage client expectations in a fast-paced, product-centric environment – 5+ years of relevant experience preferred * Demonstrated understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology * Ability to manage CST P&L to desired margin * Ability to work directly with clients in user forum, round table, or customer outreach sessions * Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills * Experience in a SaaS, online payments, software or product-centric business preferred * Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
