Responsibilities
* Achieve all operations and sales objectives/goals for assigned area (e.g. contribution, budget, gross profit, productivity, inventory management, merchandising/signage, price checks/changes, promotions/contests, etc.). * Monitor, order, receive and maintain department product and/or supplies using appropriate tools. * Ensure proper department conditions (e.g., shelf, case, sales floor, backroom, freezer, and cooler, etc.). * Operate, clean, and maintain equipment/machinery, tools, and workstations. * Recruit, interview and select employees, while mirroring the community we serve. * Supervise, direct, set goals and delegate tasks using independent judgment. * Create weekly scheduled shifts while controlling payroll costs. * Arrange for ongoing training and communication with all employees working within assigned area. * Cultivate growth through the cross-development of high potential employees. * Evaluate, coach, reward, recognize employees and celebrate successes. * Handle conflict and counsel employees that require disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
