Summary
We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Project Manager to help us deliver core initiatives within IT Operations. As part of the IT Operations team, you will lead various technology teams (System Administration, Corporate IT, Help Desk, and Network Engineering) through the definition, execution and delivery of projects. You will gather requirements and insure the objectives are clear. The projects will impact many parts of the overall organization and require excellent communication and problem solving skills. You will be part of the Operations PMO that uses an iterative waterfall methodology. The ideal team member is highly skilled at task planning, attention to detail, project negotiation and sequencing combined with a desire to deliver Operations projects to meet the fast pace of the Gaming industry.
Responsibilities
* Planning, coordination, execution, communications and delivery of multiple concurrent projects * Proactively identify dependencies and issues between teams and work to resolve them * Facilitate discussions and manage relationships with various technology and business stakeholders * Track project scope changes, delivery timing and key project metrics * Communicate project progress, changes and risks * Have fun with the teams you work with and work as a team to get better
Ideal Candidate
* Relevant Bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience * 3+ years experience in IT project management * Knowledge and experience delivering projects within IT operations including IT systems, and infrastructure * Well organized task planner with the ability to scope projects in a highly detailed manner * Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and to stakeholder satisfaction * Ability to build strong rapport with stakeholders to influence desired outcome * Strong leadership qualities; ability to interface with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Development and Operations * Experience with wide range of project management methodologies and knowing when to use them * Familiar with IT enterprise process standards and regulations (e.g. ITIL, Lean, PCI, SOX) * Experience delivering projects with vendor partners. Managed vendor timelines and deliverables across internal and external teams
