BHE’s mission is to improve healthcare through innovative analytics. Our team has built a next-generation analytics platform, Instant Health Data (IHD), to bring researchers together to generate insights into improving population health, quality of care, and managing costs.

Summary

BHE has been a leader in providing custom research services and novel analytics platforms to life science companies for the past 20 years. BHE is expanding its offerings and is hiring a Director of Business Development for both custom services and products, including the widely-used Instant Health Data (IHD) platform. The Director of Business Development will focus on both developing new accounts and expanding service offerings to existing customers through consultative selling.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee implementation of strategic marketing plans
  • Develop new business relationships selling directly to C-suite prospects
  • Mentor junior members of the sales team
  • Industry networking and maintenance of strategic relationships
Ideal Candidate
  • Domain Experience: Proven ability to sell research services and related products to various teams in life science companies
  • Track Record of Success: Consistently achieved or exceeded established objectives
  • Relationship Development: Enterprise-level experience in selling and upselling to Fortune 500 companies
  • Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with internal teams, prospects, and partners.
  • Strategic: Able to contribute to strategic plans, negotiate contracts, develop new strategic partnerships and work to strengthen relationships with existing customers.

Education and Experience:

  • BS/BA in business, technology, or related fields
  • 5-10+ years of business development experience in the life sciences industry focusing on consulting services and data analytics
  • Willingness to travel
