Summary

The Human Resources Analyst is responsible for process management, analytics and technology oversight, for all Human Resources systems which support HR initiatives and programs. As a strategic partner, the Human Resources Analyst will work with internal colleagues and external vendors to define deliverables and execute project plans for multiple constituents.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage varied Human Resources processes and administrative responsibilities, including day-to-day support, data integration, proper program and system documentation, reporting and analytics, and life-cycle management.

  • Define, identify and generate system reports and dashboards to leverage analytical data and meet business intelligence needs (e.g., daily, monthly, quarterly, etc.).

  • Organize and manage project teams to define, implement and administer new technologies, software installations, conversions, application redesign and current technology expansion, which may require managing the relationship and internal and external management consultants.

  • Develops firm-wide annual salary merit budget analysis

  • Participates in the annual compensation planning/merit process by providing program and system support to HR and business managers during planning process, assisting with the development and distribution of communication materials and training, generating reporting and analyzing merit awards vs. budgets

  • Create and maintain compensation process documentation

  • Participate in annual salary surveys and compensation studies, reviewing market data to determine the company’s overall compensation position and present recommendations to ensure both internal equity and external competitiveness

  • Provides support to management and HR on compensation issues related to offers for new hires, promotions, and transfers

  • Support the business and other Human Resources colleagues on a consulting basis regarding special project work and requests (e.g., RFPs, ad hoc reports, etc.).

  • Participate in the implementation and ownership of approved programs (e.g., communication, reporting, project plan support, document creation and distribution, etc.).

  • Forecast, research and plan future Human Resources program and process solutions and projects which integrate with business operations.

  • Communicate and syndicate technology and reporting designs and concepts with colleagues and business owners.

  • Respond and manage problem resolution for all levels of inquiries and issues within and between Human Resources disciplines.

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience in a HR technology or data analysis capacity or equivalent experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, vlookups, macros, and advanced charting

  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems (ADP preferred)

  • Experience with varied HR information systems, reporting tools, user interfaces and user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Strong numbers orientation, including knowledge of basic statistical and mathematic calculations

  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand and modify existing code (e.g., SQL, VB, etc.) and data mapping

  • CCP certification or other HR certification preferred

  • Ability to maintain confidential human resources and compensation information

  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills, with strong detail orientation

  • Time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates

  • Experience developing, executing and integrating project plans

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA, EEO, wage laws, etc.)
