Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. (BLS) is a Michigan based company founded in 1994 by two brothers - Jeffery M. Benore, President and David A. Benore, Vice President. With years of experience in the family owned Transportation Company, the two created a fully integrated logistics organization known today as Benore Logistic Systems Inc. or (BLS).

Provides mechanical repair, routine maintenance, and installation services to the company's fleet of heavy tractors, van trailers and forklifts. This position requires a certified diesel mechanic with knowledge, and experience to maintain all transportation fleet vehicles to meet DOT and state requirements for commercial class 8 tractors, trailers, and diesel engines. Position represents the Company in a positive image working with our employees, customers, and community in a safe and ethical manner to achieve financial success.

• Responsible for inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of the fleet of company vehicles in compliance with company and DOT standards.
• Works with department personnel and management on parts, tires, and equipment needs required for heavy truck maintenance.
• Required to sign off on the Driver's Vehicle Inspection reports that all repairs have been completed to meet DOT and company requirements.
• Performs a variety of tasks associated with heavy vehicle maintenance and other duties as assigned by management.
• Position maybe required to perform roadside repairs as needed.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have own hand tools, previous hands-on experience, and it is preferred to have a Class A CDL. Pay based on experience. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education and/or Experience

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
