Manager, Carrier EDI

The Carrier EDI Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of our Data Exchange teams. This team is responsible for securely transmitting data files and researching file and transmission errors. The manager will be responsible for providing direction to the team, serve as the point of escalation for all EDI issues and monitor the production activity. Other responsibilities include improving day-to-day operations so that all file processing and delivery deadlines are met.

* Ensure daily EDI operations are timely, accurate, and efficient * Point of escalation for Partner Carrier and EDI Issues * Search for areas of improvement and drive to a successful conclusion * Represent Benefitfocus in a courteous, professional manner everywhere * Provide necessary metrics and other information as needed to support company initiatives * Must have a can-do attitude and be willing to work in a fast-paced, ever changing business environment

* BA/BS Degree required * 4 or more years management experience * Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills: diplomatic, professional and composed * Strong communication skills: verbal and written * Strong presentation skills * Analytical and problem solving skills * Knowledge of benefit plans/structures is a plus * Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously * Exemplary organizational skills * Metric driven
