Superintendent of Civil Scaffolding

The Civil Superintendent is responsible for field construction and installation activities including scaffolding, concrete formwork and miscelaaneous carpentry.

* Determine manpower, tools, equipment and material requirements for carpenters/scaffold builders * Develop daily craft assignments to be performed and review work accomplished * Prepare short and long term schedules, interface with other discipline superintendents and field engineers * Supervise and direct subordinate personnel and craft in construction activities within civil discipline * Develop civil craft loading and manpower forecasts * Monitor actual work performance compared to the project budget and schedule * Coordinate activities with other diciplines and clients' resident representative as instructed by construction management * Perform personnel evalutions on subordinate personnel * Ensures the most current design documentation is being utilized to complete activities * Coordinate subcontractor labor supervision and craft distribution as required * Provide leadership for the safety, accident prevention, and fire prevention programs on the project * Provide leadership for safety, accident prevention and fire prevention programs on project.

**Basic Qualifciations** * Must have at least 5 years Heavy industrial power plant construction experience * Must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience * Must have the right to work and remain in the United States **Preferred Qualifications** - Previous experience in Combined Cycle Power Plants - Previous Bechtel experience
