Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant - John Knox Village is responsible to provide routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as directed by the licensed nurse, assists residents in lifting, turning, moving, positioning walking and transporting to and from appointment, therapy and social programs, assists resident with hygiene, ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked, assists with meal preparation, serving and delivery, collects and disposes of all waste before leaving the residents room, recognizes and responds to emergency situations and performs other duties as assigned.

Certifications and Licensures

• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• CNA (Nursing Assistant) within 120 days

Education

• High School or Equivalent
• Technical Certified Nursing Assistant

Experience

• 6 months Geriatric
