Senior Manager, Finance - R&D Financial Planning & Analysis

• Simplify a historical overly complex planning process and system.
• Assess systems and bring in solutions/recommendations to improve/Collaborate with IT.
• Develop standardized reporting for the global R&D; organization / Drive and prepare consolidated high quality reporting that informs and enables.
• Perform voice of customer with finance function and function to understand reporting requirements and needs
• Support R&D; Finance head in preparing high quality executive reporting
• Prepare compelling financial analysis to aid decision making and investment prioritization
• Bring in knowledge/insight of system best practice.
• Understanding and working knowledge of Baxalta financial systems (JDE, Cognos, Hyperion)

• Ability to take initiative, guide and influence others.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator
• Technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and GAAP accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Advanced Excel skill.
• Ability to balance conflicting demands and achieve positive outcomes through effective prioritization strategies and techniques
