Coding Inpatient accounts for billing purposes.<>Credentials: CCS, RHIA or RHIT<>3-5 years coding experience

Exercise high degree of diligence, skill and judgment in reviewing and interpreting all available information to establish abstract data, as well as ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes for patient medical records. Codes medical records for the purpose of reimbursement, research and compliance with regulatory agencies by assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 codes.

High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and medical record documentation. Three to five years experience in coding, reimbursement, and compliance required. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 NCCI, CMS compliance, coding and reimbursement policies. Knowledge of Insurance Billing, OIG Work Plan and HIPAA. CPC required. CEU’s are required to update on insurance policies and procedures, and coding. Continuing education credits.
