Data Product Manager

Data is one of the most strategic assets a bank possesses. The Enterprise Data Management (EDM) initiative is a bank-wide response to the regulatory requirements of Basel III Risk Data Aggregation (RDA) for liquidity and capital reporting across all lines of business. In support of this initiative the Global Transaction Services (GTS) group is seeking a product data steward to implement data management capabilities across a diverse range of global commercial banking products.

Act as a Data Steward for data management and data quality across the GTS application portfolio. Provide ownership of metadata and data lineage to support the GTS global data management strategy and Risk Data Aggregation compliance. The Data Steward has the following key responsibilities: * Ensuring a high quality business elements and attributes are captured, analysed, documented and agreed with line of business and data management partners. * Defining appropriate data quality metrics and controls for sharing data with other data domains and external partners. * Leading analysis into root cause and remediation efforts for data incidents and data gaps. * Leading data sourcing and provisioning scoping and requirements analysis in collaboration with counterparts in other data domains (eg; corporate treasury, enterprise risk). * Ensure that enterprise data management policy is applied to data-centric initiatives across GTS. The role is global in nature and partners closely with GTS product management, revenue management and operations teams in Digital Channels, Payments, Receivables, Liquidity, Commercial Cards and Global Trade - plus downstream business partners that consume GTS data (eg: corporate treasury, balance sheet management, enterprise risk). The role engages with business and technology partners in multiple time zones. Communication is a key asset for this position as it requires executive updates for both business (Product Management hierarchy) and technology leadership.

**Required Skills** * Business analysis skills. 5+ years experience in product management/development and the development of business requirements or functional specifications. * Demonstrated functional knowledge of data management and/or enterpise databases and architectures * Project Management and communication skills in a matrixed organization * Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to quickly analyze and synthesize large volumes of data * Communication of technical & architectural designs in a business-friendly fashion. * Ability to deliver presentations to GTS and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) decision-makers. * Bachelor’s Degree required, or deep related career expertise. * Ability to travel occasionally **Desired Skills** * Knowledge of Bank of America data management policy and standards * 5+ years experience and knowledge of BofAML GTS products and/or applications * Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (liquidity, stress, capital etc) * Knowledge of predictive analytics technology * Product management and/or product development expertise in one or more of the following product areas: * Deposits, liquidity, payments, receivables, commercial cards, global trade
