Authority Partners has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and energetic IT Project Manager to join our growing IT Project Management Office (PMO) team! This position is critical to the success of our IT PMO and will also be responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project management on assigned PMO projects. This role requires an experienced IT Project Manager with a proven track record working in a PMO and managing large IT projects, collaborating successfully with other business and IT teams to ensure success.

* Create and follow consistent best practices for project management * Drive process enhancements in collaboration other project managers in IT to enhance the project management discipline * Support the enhancement of standards for Project Management Methodology * Develop metrics and scorecards to evaluate the success of projects * Manage medium to large sized projects with budgets ranging from $100,000 - $2 million, as well as regular support releases. * Drive projects through SDLC using Waterfall or Agile Methodology, from initial definition and estimation, through to production delivery and support. * Deliver projects on time, within budget, with quality results that meet customer expectations * Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure projects are planned and prioritized to match business needs. Engage with project governance processes. * Develop detailed project schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Track and report progress on required performance indicators. * Proactively manage scope, issues and risks to ensure project success. Follow change control procedures effectively. * Drive analysis and resolution of complex problems with multiple variables & risks. * Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users, services organizations, vendors and implementation partners. * Provide assistance and mentoring to others.

* 5+years of IT and business/industry work experience * 5+years managing IT projects utilizing formal project management techniques and tools. * 3+ years working within and maturing an IT Project Management Office * Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects, collaborating across business and IT teams. * Scrum Master Experience * Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile/Scrum) and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. * Demonstrated experience in managing IT project deliverables (such as project charter, project schedules, financials, and status reports), issue and risk management and bringing projects to successful completion within cost and time requirements. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to manage meetings, lead project teams, and communicate effectively with senior management. * Experience managing projects across different technologies, including production support as well as new development. * Proficient in MS Project and Excel; able to manage complex project schedules and estimates. * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or discipline related to industry. Work experience may be substituted for educational credentials.
