Authentic Form & Function is seeking a junior/mid-level frontend developer to join their growing and vibrant team. Remote and contract-to-fulltime. We aren’t hiring an employee; we’re hiring someone to help grow Authentic F&F organically, and from the ground up. We want a personality ready to set goals, and do whatever it takes to make them happen. Characteristics that are of the utmost importance: * Experience with remote working * Extremely self-motivated and goal-oriented * Efficient in personal work/life boundaries and balance * Articulate and well spoken * Pride in his/her writing and communication ability * Eager to get dirty in an entrepreneurial environment Developer Requirements: * Being proficient at many of the following, and an understanding of the rest: Modern PHP Development, Laravel, ExpressionEngine, Javascript, Backbone.js, Ruby, Rails, MySQL, Postgres, Sass, Grunt, Bower, Git. * Understanding design, UI, and UX concepts, and being able to translate these concepts to technical implementations; HTML and CSS. * Strong personal emphasis on attention to detail (naming conventions, clean design files, working with grids, etc.) Design Niceties: * Strategy and execution for branding initiatives * Wireframes / user flow experience * Interaction design background * Familiarity of modern design trends and styles * Strong personal emphasis on attention to detail (naming conventions, clean design files, working with grids, etc.) Comfortable sketching ideas, but also confident in Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator
