Summary

August is looking for a Customer Support Representative to join our growing team. The position will be responsible for engaging with our customers and making sure that each interaction results in a happy customer. The ideal candidate will be highly personable, organized, proficient with common office tools such as spreadsheet and document software, and a quick learner.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and provide outstanding support
  • Provide support through ticket management system (desk.com)
  • Track and respond to social media (Twitter, FB, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Customer follow up on issues reported
  • Report bugs reported by customers, escalate as necessary
  • Close out bug reports that are fixed and provide feedback to customer
  • Process returns
Ideal Candidate
  • 1-3 years experience as a CSR
  • Flexible schedule, hours of operation are Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 8PM and Saturday - Sunday 9AM - 6PM
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire to contribute actively in a fast-moving startup, working cross-functionally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of hardware technology
  • Proficiency with common office software and social media - Google Docs, Excel, Dropbox, Facebook and Twitter
