Tax Accountant

Founded in 1995, Atrium Staffing is a privately held, woman-owned staffing and recruitment firm with revenues grossing over $215M. Atrium places temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire professionals in Administrative Support, Finance & Accounting, Fashion & Retail, Human Resources, Manufacturing & Production, Real Estate, Post-Production, Scientific & Clinical, and Marketing & Creative positions.

Lead Tax Accountant will ensure that the firm is in compliance with regulated tax laws during preparation of federal, state, and international tax returns.

• Prepare tax workpapers through gathering of company information
• Maintain fixed asset depreciation software
• Reconcile book vs. tax basis differences
• Work with accounting team across the global company
• Assist with tax audits (both state and federal)
• Update compliance schedules, tax payments schedules, and extension requests

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage GoSystems Tax Software
• 2+ years’ in corporate accounting or Public Accounting tax department
• Detail oriented candidates
• Time management and task prioritization ability

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA and/or Masters in Taxation
