Summary
In the Content Optimization Manager role, you will work with web development, content marketing, marketing analytics, and product marketing teams to identify, prioritize, and project manage web pages that increase qualified organic traffic to our web properties. Ultimately, your north star is to craft compelling content while growing organic search traffic that leads to evaluations of Atlassian products.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with other teams to improve the search and conversion performance of existing content, considering text and design elements * Strategize, plan, write and/or lead projects for the creation of new web pages, which may include marketing copy, long-form articles, white papers, infographics, blog posts and video content. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solicit the best, most engaging content available for an evolving set of target topics. * Build Google-friendly content with compelling page elements (page title, meta description, headers, etc.) to engage consumers and optimize for SEO. * Monitor ongoing page performance and iterate copy as needed. * Coordinate with busy writers and web developers to get pages and improvements shipped regularly. * Evangelize SEO and CRO (conversion rate optimization) best practices throughout the organization.
Ideal Candidate
* An understanding of competitive and long-tail search strategies, mobile-friendliness, HTML, SEO, content marketing and CRO —especially with a lens for messaging. * At least five years professional writing, editing and content production experience. * Demonstrated ability to lead a program with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities, driving projects to completion. * Proficiency in Google Search Console and other SEO tools for performance tracking and keyword research. * A genuine interest in SEO, content marketing and CRO and up to date with industry trends.
