Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for systems engineering and implementation design for AT&T’s ECOMP platform. ECOMP is the applications platform that enables delivery of virtualized network elements (VNFs) and software defined network (SDN) based services.
Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will perform technical analysis and specify detailed requirements and software designs for the ECOMP sub-systems - - (a) real time inventory of virtual network resources, - (b) orchestration, control and activation of virtual network functions and services, - (c) application control and policy management for closed loop control, - (d) network data collection and analytics. - The selected candidate will utilize Agile methodology in this position.
Ideal Candidate
- The candidate must have proven skills and knowledge of evolving Open Source software technologies, including one or more of the following - Open Stack components, Directed Graphs, Graph Databases, large scale Non-Relational data stores, REST APIs, Policy Managers, Network Data Analytics. Previous experience with wide area networks, IP routing and protocols, SDN, NFV and emerging software technologies is needed. *A bachelor's or master's degree in the following is required:* - Computer Engineering - Computer Science - Electrical Engineering - Electronic Engineering - Mathematics.
