Sr. Business & Systems Analyst Requirements

AT&T Entertainment and Internet Services (AEIS) is seeking a Sr Business & Systems Analyst, with a good balance of technical and leadership skills, to join the AEIS Engineering team located in El Segundo, California. This position will be responsible for end-to-end processing of new project requests submitted by Business and Internal Engineering customers from requirements definition through project cost estimation.

• Review new project requests (or change requests) for completeness
• Interview business requesters and stakeholders for requirements validation, clarifications and additional details
• Create high level requirements and generate necessary documents to enable ROM estimation
• Collaborate with Engineering System Architects for high level solutions on new requests
• Facilitate development of ROM cost estimates for project requests in conjunction with internal development teams
• Preparation and presentation of ROM estimates to executives, requesters and stakeholders
• Facilitate hand off of approved new requests to project management and internal development teams for execution

• BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Science Degree preferred
• 5 or more years of working experience in systems engineering or systems development
• Experience in Business Requirements Analysis, Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture
• Have sufficient technical skills to discuss and debate high level solutions with Engineering System Architects and impacted Engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to the target audience to achieve desired results
• Can work effectively across Enterprise and internal Engineering teams
• Has effective problem solving skills and analytical skills
• Able to work independently in a fast paced environment, manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Has curiosity and interest to understand, learn and expand knowledge
