Responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology for gathering, organizing, and reporting on customer data.
Responsibilities
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:** * Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems and software to be used to advance the customer satisfaction survey strategy across att properties. * Researches, proposes, and assists in implementing surveying solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs while aligning with corporate and IT solutions. * Interfaces with web and mobile application teams to implement survey solutions for survey configurations and site survey tagging across desktop and mobile platforms. * Solid understanding of big data concepts, structured and unstructured data, and challenges for sharing and reporting on multi-sourced data. * Experience in web development, database schemas and programming, and familiarity with analytic tools. Knowledgeable in development processes. * Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems. * This position provides training and guidance to others in work area by breaking down information in a systematic and logical manner. * Cultivates good working relationships with peers. **Additional responsibilities include:** * Application pre-requisites and requirements discovery and analysis * Architectural configuration and standard process development (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, etc) * Scheduling and deployment procedures * Working with User Experience design teams * Building/consulting on web analytics technical requirements * Creating customer segmentation and online visitor profiles * Ability to understand/knowledge in manipulating large data volumes (ie.Big Data) * Working with tag management systems
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field * 5+ years related technical architect experience * Understands web analytics, website tagging/monitoring, JavaScript functions, APIs, database design, web technologies, ETL processes * Proficient in data communications protocols (TCP/IP, v4/v6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, GMPLS, etc.) * Well-versed in security (encryption, certificates, firewalls, VPNs, etc.) * Proficient in system performance measurements, troubleshooting, support, monitoring and optimization * Knowledge in network and system architecture (Subsystems, interfaces, hw/sw dependencies) * Proficient in Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP Network Address Management, Performance Management) * Previous experience with managing survey data or knowledge of survey methodologies (a plus) **Desired Qualifications** * Enterprise wide deployment planning and support for mission critical applications for major releases, both business and infrastructure related * Develop technical documentation on applications and systems * Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
