Senior Software Engineer – Search Marketing

Software Engineering in support of the Search Engine Marketing team at Ask.com is all about improving engineering excellence; we are working to make it more productive and fun. The Software Engineering Team develops internally targeted software and services with the goal of helping business group improve its return on investment. Your Task

• Design, build, test, deploy and maintain massively scalable, highly available, modular software products.

• Drive continual improvement to system architecture.

• Strengthen our development methodologies and processes.

• Produce high quality code in an agile environment.

• Advocate programming best practices and standards.

Your Skills

• Expert in Java.

• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices

• Experience with various open-source frameworks

• Experience with traditional SQL databases and APIs

• Experience with large scale NoSQL solutions such as Hadoop is a plus

• Familiarity with machine learning, AI or data science applications is a plus.

• BA/BS in computer science, computer engineering or related technical field and

• 3 years’ experience in job offered or computer-related occupation.
